Fit Cheques x CYRO at The Webster Toronto

Back in 2022, we had the honour of collaborating with our friend Khaleel on his new project, Fit Cheque—a project that turned out to be a perfect blend of creativity, style, and fun. Shot at The Webster store in Toronto, this shoot was especially meaningful for us as it marked our first official collaboration and photoshoot together as a duo. From the vibe to the visuals, everything about the experience was so much fun.

Khaleel describes Fit Cheques as "a means of being able to fulfill my duties as an external stylist for businesses I partnered with. It didn’t take long for me to realize the platform could serve a higher purpose. So, I intentionally curated a blend of friends — who just so happen to be entrepreneurs — whom I felt could benefit from the exposure as my muses, them being fly made shooting product shots that much more seamless".

Incorporating our Personal Style with High Fashion

One of the things we loved most about this collaboration was the opportunity to work with an mix of brands—each with its own unique personality. We styled various looks featuring pieces from Jean Paul Gaultier, GALLERY DEPT., Coperni, Rick Owens, Salmon, and more. These brands are known for their bold, boundary-pushing designs, and styling them allowed us to explore a wide range of creative possibilities.

Each outfit was carefully curated to reflect our vision while staying true to Khaleel’s direction, creating a perfect harmony between personal style and high fashion.

The Power of Creative Freedom

What truly made this experience special was the freedom Khaleel gave us to express ourselves. In a world where collaboration can sometimes feel like a balancing act, Khaleel stood out as someone who genuinely lets the creatives around him shine. He didn’t just focus on the end product—he made sure we were able to put our own stamp on the project, showcasing our personal style in the best way possible.

Working with Khaleel felt effortless. He encouraged us to be ourselves, which made the entire shoot so much fun. And when you're able to be fully yourself in front of the camera, the images come out much more authentic and natural.

Although our personal style has evolved a lot since then, we can’t help but look back at the images from this shoot and feel how timeless the images are. Thanks to the incredible talent of photographer Marius, the photos we created together are as timeless as the fashion they represent. Marius captured the essence of the moment perfectly, making sure every shot was effortlessly cool.

Ultimately, this collaboration wasn’t just a photoshoot; it was a chance to push creative boundaries, collaborate with talented people, and create something that felt entirely true to who we are.
