Cancellation Policy

1. Booking Confirmation To secure the DJ for your event, the rate for must be agreed upon 7 days before the event. An invoice will be signed and sent out within 24 hours of the event. The full balance for the event is due no later than 7 days after the event date. 2. Event Details Event Information: The client agrees to provide all relevant event details (e.g., event date, location, start and end times, special requests, music preferences) at least 1 week prior to the event. Equipment and Setup: The DJ will bring sound and lighting equipment for the performance if requested by the client. The client is responsible for ensuring the venue provides adequate power outlets and space for setup. Any additional equipment requests will be subject to extra charges. 3. Cancellation Policy Client-Initiated Cancellations: * More than 48 hours before the event: Full refund of any payments made (if applicable). * Less than 24 hours before the event: 50% of the total booking fee will be refunded. * Same Day Cancellation: no refund *see specific cancellation policies for private events * DJ-Initiated Cancellations: If the DJ must cancel for any reason, the client will receive a full refund of any payments made. The DJ will assist the client in finding a suitable replacement DJ if possible, but is not liable for any additional costs incurred due to the cancellation. 4. Rescheduling If the client needs to reschedule the event, the DJ will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the new date, provided it is within the DJ's availability. Rescheduling requests must be made at least 14 days before the original event date. Rescheduling Fee: A rescheduling fee of 20% of the total booking fee may apply depending on the circumstances. 5. Force Majeure Neither party shall be held responsible for failure to fulfill obligations due to circumstances beyond their control, such as natural disasters, extreme weather, illness, or other emergencies. In such cases, a new event date will be agreed upon, or the client will receive a refund if rescheduling is not possible. 6. Late Arrivals/Delays The DJ will make every effort to arrive on time for the event. If the client or venue causes delays to the event the DJ reserves the right to shorten performance time without offering a refund. Any delays caused by the client or venue do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund. By signing this contract, both the client and the DJ acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined.
